OUR STORY
Chachu’s pays homage to the street food culture of India.
In our family, we have so many fond memories of meeting friends after school and running to the nearest Kathi Roll food truck, where “Chachu" (hindi for uncle - culturally, any older man is called uncle out of respect) knew exactly how we liked our after school snack and made it, fresh and right before your eyes.
This art form of fresh food, made with love and care was lost over time.
Chachu’s wants to bring you the feeling of belonging, of feeling understood and most importantly of freshly made, mouth watering Indian street food, cooked to your desires!
Chachu’s lives by the philosophy that food is so much more than just food - it is an experience, it is a memory, it bring friends and families together and it brings happiness.
We are all about making our customer feel seen, acknowledged and well fed. This has seen us become regarded as one of the most popular Indian street food restaurants in Sydney.
Chachu’s is a family run business and is currently located in Chatswood, Sydney CBD, Castle Hill and Hornsby.
